In the blink of an eye, I am in the middle of my 18th year teaching at Christ the King Catholic School. I am so grateful for the days I get to spend with my Kindergarten class. If you were to visit, you would notice that our students have the biggest hearts and are always so quick to help when it is needed. During our daily prayer time, you will hear them praying for many things, from praying for a sick friend, for a hurt knee, or for a pet that has died. When someone is injured on the playground, they want to walk their friend to the office for a Band-Aid or ice pack. At this time of the year, students become even more aware of others and their feelings, which helps them to develop greater empathy for other people. Our Kindergarten students are joyful and caring, and a great example to show how to treat others with kindness.
