Students entering kindergarten must be 5 years old by August 31st or receive principal approval for an exception. Incoming kindergarten students will participate in a brief assessment with the kindergarten teacher to help us know how to best support them.
Current CKS families will receive an email with information about re-enrollment for the next school year by early January.
We welcome both Catholics and non-Catholics. We are guided by the Catholic traditions of compassion, social justice, and responsibility, preparing a generation of citizens to lead through their commitment to these values. We believe the integrity of these ideas goes beyond any one faith.
Christ the King School admits students of any race, sex, sexual orientation, faith traditions, color, national and ethnic origin, and disability to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, sexual orientation, color, national and ethnic origin, age or disability in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletics and other school-administered programs.
Although we do not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, sexual orientation, color, national or ethnic origin, it remains our primary purpose and mission to serve Catholic members of the parish. Under some circumstances, medically justifiable limitations may be placed on the admission/retention of students with infectious diseases and/or life threatening illnesses. Likewise, limitations may be placed on the admission/retention of students whose needs the school is unable to meet. Decisions regarding admission/retention of these students is decided on a case-by-case basis by the principal or his/her designee.
