Middle school is an exciting time where adolescents become more independent, develop greater understanding about the world, and learn more about who they are. At Christ the King this growth and learning happens in the context of small class sizes; dedicated faculty guided by Catholic values such as compassion, responsibility, and social justice; and a close-knit and collaborative community. Middle schoolers spend time both in mixed-grade groups as well as their grade-level.
Students have six periods a day, including electives. Students get to choose different electives each trimester. Past electives have included set design, improv, speech, board games, pickelball, and marketing.
