Our 1st graders welcomed our new Director of Development, Brigette Quichocho, by welcoming her into their classroom and participating in some read alouds!
James B. from 4th grade was recorded and made news last week! He faithfully represented Christ the King School’s stewardship of the Salmon in Schools program facilitated each year by the 4th grade class. We are so proud of you James B. and a big thanks to our amazing 4th grade teacher, Ms. Fairbanks for all that you do to make our students shine out in the world!
Yesterday, our school faith families came together—from preschoolers to 8th graders—to honor Veteran's Day! We shared stories, learned about the sacrifices of our veterans, and created heartfelt cards to send to those who serve, with our 8th graders leading the way. It was a beautiful reminder of gratitude and community.
The third graders traveled to MOAHI earlier this week where they learned about the Coast Salish people and spent time exploring the museum. Many felt that two hours was not enough time to experience all that MOAHI has to offer. A big thank you to MOAHI and to the chaperones.
We are so proud of the support the Fulcrum Foundation offers to many families, enabling them to be able to afford a Catholic education for their children. Andre Laze is just one such example of the amazing alumni we have. Thank you Fulcrum!
It is almost back-to-school time! We are looking forward to welcoming your children back to school! Don't forget about getting school supplies and other items in the 24-25 summer packet you have in your email (linked here for easy access).
We are so proud of our Early Childhood Education (ECE) program for being featured, along with other ECE programs in the Archdiocese, in Northwest Catholic. We are pleased to be a leader within the Archdiocese in offering this education and childcare service to our youngest learners and their families.
