At Christ the King School we understand that academic learning is strongly linked to social-emotional well-being. Our nurturing faculty are Responsive Classroom-trained to integrate social-emotional learning and create a safe, fun, predictable learning environment. Responsive Classroom is evidence-based and focused on:

- developmentally responsive teaching
Our school counselor also supports students through individual meetings as well as small group and whole class lessons. She also works with teachers to enhance what they do in the classroom with all students.
